ooh, and that rock he is sitting on, looks like it got a nice swirl in it.. looking very nice, but fragile too DX
and I cant relly see what leg is doing what...
the background is going to look awesome, with those hills and stuff, Im sure of that. Im not so sure about the empty space with the red lettering though.. some awesome clouds will, I think, destroy it a bit.. but I think you are going to put them up, right? to give it some kind of framing like with your last piece?
and title? "a lovely view"

As of such (summer and all), there won't be any clouds I think. I like it more this way... It might destroy the painting if I put them in. Plus I can't draw them. at. all. xD
Lol the right leg is on the rock, the left one is pulled up.

yeaah, I took a look at the contest, but decided notto join, as they all have elf ears I believe XD
and if the guy loves solitude, dun draw friends and spoil it kthanksplease.
and about the empty dpace, perhaps 'halveer' het, zodat het niet empty lijkt, maar gewoon een bg is

What's wrong with them ears? xD
Lol he loves solitude, but Glaze (and perhaps Gild?) is his only friend and they travel together. He just loves space of his own. I think it would be a typical thing for him to sit alone on a rock like this, anyway xD
I won't draw his friends anyway, since they would not fit on the piece. The place I imagine them being is far far down xD not on the mountain I sketched them to be on, lol, that was just me having fun xD
Hm, but I like the empty space xD it gives a feeling of the solitude I try to show. But perhaps I'll do it anyway xD

he sounds like this is a typical thing indeed, and indeed, no fwiends! fwiends are EVIL!
I think a far background will help creating the mood of solitude better than having the viewer feel alone too. the viewer should just feel hé is in solitude
